Did Entercom employee vandalize Scotto entry on Wikipedia?

Yes, it's Brian. Yes, he used to work for Entercom etc. But still...

http://radioequalizer.blogspot.com

Apparently someone trashed Scotto's entry on Wikipedia and it can be traced back to Entercom computers.
And they have also done revisions to many other entries on the user-based encyclopedia.
The entry for S.A.M. included:

>>He is heavy into Satan worship, and often kills and eats wild boar after sacraficing the male testicles to an owl god...Scott Allen Miller, more often than not, enjoys sex with wild pigs. The freedom, he says, he gets from the fight of the pig, is incredible.

Any vandalism looks like it's since been cleaned up but the earlier version can be seen at:
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Scott_Allen_Miller&diff=155856931&oldid=146529103

Wikipedia warns: "This article must adhere to the policy on biographies of living persons. Controversial material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately, especially if potentially libelous."

Anyone who thinks that Entercom would condone vandalizing Scotto's Wikipedia entry is nuts. My money is that the Entercom employee who did it is one of the Fellowship of the Disgruntled who posts to Brian Maloney's site.

Entercom will have a come-to-Jesus or come-to-Allah moment in 2008 as negatives mount. I and thousands of listeners now refuse to listen to either WRKO or WEEI. Thanks to blogs and message boards, Entercom's 'dirty laundry' is there for all to see. But beyond that, no matter how loud the on-air hosts try to get, both stations need radio Viagra once you get beyond the Weston toll booths. Both have utterly laughable signals from now until the leaves get back on the trees in eight more months. Peanut whistles, the both of them. So Entercom's two Boston 'jewels' are now stations that thousands of listeners don't WANT to listen to and they are stations that people CAN'T listen to thanks to their impotent signals during the most important parts of the day for their business.

Go get 'em, Scotto! Undress those Entercom rodeo clowns!

"Why would someone even want to do that?"

"Anyone who thinks that Entercom would condone vandalizing Scotto's Wikipedia entry is nuts."

Someone who cannot think straight. Obviously it's not one of the suits. But whoever did it used an Entercom computer, which intentional or not will cause a problem for Entercom.

I cannot get WRKO at home any time of day. I rely on the internet stream unless I'm on the road or closer to the city.

Well I need to listen to WRKO for the Sox (where I work WBOQ doesn't quite come in) but that's about it.
If Howie returns I'd certainly listen (that is, if he fails in his effort to move to Greater/WTKK) but that would
be it.

In the WEEI case you have the translators in Westerly, Easthampton, Worcester and (coming...
well, maybe in Dec or Jan, Cape Cod, NH, ME, etc.) to help the signal out. But yes 'RKO and 'EEI both
push north/south at night and these next few months will pose problems for those to the west. They
could be better off simulcasting on the other properties (WMKK, WKAF...and WCRB perhaps, though
I think the half-ownership Entercom is getting may not be in effect yet).
Could you imagine: WRKO-FM 93.7 (though Mike is getting half decent ratings) or 99.5/WRKA-FM 97.7 Talk

or...(transfer calls from RI) WEEI-FM 93.7 or 99.5, WDEI-FM 97.7 (put some other calls on the Westerly station)
FM talk? FM sports? No static, no signal fade at sunset...
Who knows what they could put on the AMs.

Other than the Red Sox, there is very little on-air at RKO' right now even worth listening to.

Felon Finneran is unlistenable radio and without Howie at drive-time, it forces me to listen to either EEI or 890-ESPN.
