While giving themselves the kudos of a lifetime, i could have sworn I heard a Paul or Phil, say that their break up is like when the Beatles broke up. Listen, they have been in Sac and done great forever....but the greatest band in the history of rock n roll they aint. And now, back to more kick ass christmas music on the New Y92

I believe they meant to say when ABBA broke up...

Hah!

I believe the OP here missed, perhaps, a joke on the part of Paul and Phil. They don't think they're the 21st century radio equivalent of the Beatles, for crying out loud. "It's a JOKE, son!"

AllAccess reports that Phil Cowan goes solo on the KSTE midday talk show starting January 3rd, but the pair will continue on Y92 until mid-June, when the new co-host replaces Phil on the FM side.

For those who might be a bit younger, let's drop "ABBA" and replace with "98 Degrees." Or, "Spice Girls." Or, "Wham."

No, everyone should know who ABBA is, good or bad. I am too young to have listened to them, but I know who ABBA is. That could also be the fact that I worked at a station that, at the time, could have pretty much been a disco station.
