Last November when Kimmer and a lunatic war protester came to blows, and the Kimmer announced it on Veteran's Day, the AJC's Rodney Ho was scrambling to find the 'victim' and get 'his side of the story'.
I commented then that it did not seem fair.

to which I got this response:
Kimmer is making a serious charge. I have nothing against him. I'm sure he got into a fight. But wouldn't anybody with any sense of fairness prefer to have as many perspectives as possible when it's something of this nature? This isn't like a radio prank or a radio promotion. This is two 50-something guys getting into a fistfight on a public street. And if you think I'd look the other way if he worked at Cox Radio, you don't know me. ~ Rodney Ho
to which I responded:

and I was delighted to read this response:
You have a good point that I probably should have waited

This morning, on WGST ,John Sugg, senior editor of the Creative Loafing expounded on a little sweetheart deal that one Mr Boortz ( allegedly ) had with Vernon Jones about the PDK tower.

Now, forgive me for asking, I may be wrong: where is the Rodney Ho AJC article ( not a private blog )investigating this event? I know 2 old idiots fighting in the streets is a major issue, but how about allegations of strong-arming a local elected official through use of public airwaves for personal gain ( allegedly) , all the while possibly putting a community at risk? Is that not worthy of reporting?
Obviously, the CL thought so.
Interestingly enough, one Denny Schaeffer ( sp? ) said he emailed a link to this story to Rodney, and he 'dismissed' it, saying John Sugg was just another 'Boortz-hater'.
Did I miss the investigation? Was this ever reported in the AJC?
If so, I stand corrected. If not, then why?
