Did K-Rock 94 and Y-107 really exist?

Someone keeps modifying the Wikipedia articles on WNNF and WKFS, claiming that in the '80s these stations were both top 40, as K-Rock 94 and Y-107, respectively.

I am 99.99% certain that neither K-Rock 94 nor Y-107 ever existed, but they insist it's true.

I know there was a K-Rock 1360 around 1986, but it was oldies. And 107.1 was satellite top 40 much later, but it wasn't called Y-107, nor did it have a 'Y' in its call letters at the time. I remember 94.1 going straight from country to AC in 1985, with no K-Rock 94 in between (despite what this individual claims).

Am I completely missing something, or was I right all along in my belief that K-Rock 94 and Y-107 were just figments of that individual's imagination?
 
That page is missing a couple of formats for 107.1. They went from Smooth Jazz "The Breeze" to Satellite Music Network's "The Heat"(chr). Don't remember the calls, but it was probably 1989. After that, it was "The Power Pig" (hard rock) to flank WEBN. It ran Z rock out of town. Then came alt Channel Z.

WEBN's HD-2 sounds a lot like the old Power Pig. Lots of great old Zrock-n-roll!

HD-2 is gone from The Fox. No more of the "Mother Trucker" country/classic rock format.
 
They switched from The Breeze to The Heat in April 1991. Right after that, they adopted the WAQZ calls. In late 1991 or early 1992 they became The Power Pig. Around April 1993 or so they became Channel Z.

The decline of everything was still a few years away.
 
K-Rock 94 did exist for a short time on 94.1, after it was it was country WKXF during a stunting period before The Hot AC format of Wink was kicked off. The irony was when the first set of focus groups were done a few months later, the recall on K-Rock was better than Wink. If research had been done, they could have done oldies and pre-empted WGRR all together. K-Rock was done on 1360 AM because once Wink was launched and ran it's course to help the FM achieve success, the WSAI calls were not available at the time, since WWNK was on 1360, it was K-Rock, because of the positive feedback on K-Rock 94. Later 1360 was able to get the WSAI calls back. Only to at a later date have them leave again.
