Did Rush Move (Give Me A Break)

I was reading the Rhinoceros Times (a Greensboro weekly newspaper), where a letter writer when into great detail about how Curtis Media was screwing the area by not fighting Premiere taking Rush from the market. The writer had no clue that Limbaugh was changing stations.

I had a reader from my website (GreensboroSports.com) make a similar comment that she could no longer listen to Rush over the Internet because 94.5 does not stream. I asked her if she had tried to pick up the FM radio station over the air. Nope?

I think that Limbaugh should regularly change stations - it would be like an Intelligence Test for listeners.

Phil Zachary of CMG and former WSJSer (now PTFer) Brian Freeman said that they had received e-mails claiming that the White House made WPTF take Rush off the station (WPTF). The column before Christmas on DigTriad called Tom Hamilton all sorts of names for "taking Rush off WSJS" and said that WSJS had succumbed to a "left lean". People are just DUMB sometimes!

None of those people are smart enough to feel stupid when you tell them "Rush got moved" and point out their error. That's the worst part.

Has CC been promoting the new stations at all? I haven't seen anything yet; no TV ads, no billboards, or anything. While the conspiracy theories ("Obama made WSJS take Rush off the air") are paranoia, it's understandable that listeners don't know where to hear Limbaugh if Clear Channel isn't spending any money to tell them.

It's kind of ridiculous that they didn't even advertise in the Rhinoceres Times. There's their core audience right there.

4 REAL!

I suspect the Hammer Brothers took that listener letter over to CC and pitched them a VERY RARE and probably expensive Front Page Ad.
