Did Savage Just Drop The F Bomb?

I think I just heard Savage drop an F bomb during the openning of his show. He was yelling at a board op something along the lines "get someone to f*ing run the board right G*d Damn it" WOW

Haven't heard this reported elsewhere, but if true, perhaps the right wing could receive the avalanche of FCC complaints about "indecency" for a change.

Was it funny on the same scale as that infamous Casey Kasem outburst?

I still laugh when I hear that one.

I also remember the Negativeland song built around it.

Savage is such a pompous blowhard. He's comparable to O'Reilly... if O'Reilly needed medication and refused to take it. It's not his political positions I take issue with so much (though he is on the outskirts of the fringe of the far right... descriptive enough? :D) as it is his prima donna attitude and his hate-filled presentation. In essence, for all intents and purposes, he's an a-hole behind a microphone with strong opinions and no way to rationally express them. Not exactly what I'd call "entertaining." Quite honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if the list of his former board-ops was twenty miles long.

Could have, though I didn't hear it because I haven't listened to him much lately. I remember him dropping the S-bomb on his show a year or two ago. And his engineers don't watch that carefully because he regularly humiliates them on the air. They could have dumped it unless, of course, they already ran out of delay.

Maybe some will temp. throw him off.... In Boston after the MSNBC incident, WRKO grounded him for a show or two
but wound up picking him up again...

Do you think there will be any backlash from stations?

If any individual stations that carry his show get fined because of it, then there should be major backlash. If the FCC is going to continue to treat all of the other rules and regulations in such a manner as to encourage stations to do nothing more than serve as repeaters for syndicators and networks, then the FCC shouldn't be fining individual stations for mistakes made by the syndicators or networks.

his msnbc show was dropped after he thought he was off the air when he attacked a caller

...don't buy that story. That was just his weak face-saving story after getting dumped. He knew he was on the air all the way through and somehow more valuable to MSNBC than anyone else. He had more raw egg on his face than Stallone drank in ROCKY...
