Did Star and WEBE boost their HD power?

I am able to DX Star 99.9 and WEBE 108 in HD in New Jersey tonight, on a portable HD radio. WEBE 108 HD is very strong, even stronger than the local HD stations, and Star 99.9 is coming in HD too. I'm impressed I'm able to pick up HD DX 100+ miles away.

The atmospherics have been interesting lately, which I'm wondering if that has anything to do with your reception. An engineering colleague was on a cruise in the Bahamas last week and was able to receive WALK-FM on Long Island like a local signal.

Just to avoid any confusion, this was the regular analog FM and not HD in his case.
