I'm getting the impression that, perhaps, KULP in El Campo is not going to purchase the 96.1 frequency assigned/licensed to Edna after all. Anyone have any information?
In this particular scenario, the simulcast route would have been their best bet. They do a very good job serving their community/communities...and the addition of the FM would only help to make the situation a whole lot better for everyone involved (the station, the listeners, and the advertisers).
Really? I'd think that polkas and the Trading Post would fit pretty well on FM, and Friday night football, too. Whatever their plans, this should be interesting. And needless to say it's bound to better than it was (ahem...) whenever it was actually on the air!
