So, it was announced that 1420 WBEC has dropped Limbaugh's program.
Here's what their website still says: WBEC AM 1420 features “The Rush Limbaugh Show”, Rush draws an extended audience with both male and female demographics.
So I wonder...if because of what Rush said about law student Sandra Fluke, was it management's decision, based on their politics, or from listener response? It's been said the reaction is mixed... with several calls to the station issuing complaints. Of course the region can still hear "ElRushbo" from 810 WGY and 560 WHYN. But where does that leave them now? Since he's been dumped, they've been running 3 hrs of Fox Sports!
What's your take on this? Seems like a pretty bold move to me!
Or, maybe just plain foolish :-\
