Did WGET stunt before flipping? Also, got a WGET format history?

In Nov. 2009 I vacationed in Gettysburg. At the time WGET was AC (I remember hearing Don Henley's "All She Wants to Do is Dance").

Last month I returned to Gettysburg to tour the rest of the battlefield and when I listened to the Phils on 'GET, during a spot break or a station break, I learned that 1320 is now Fox Sports (flipped in 1/2011 per Wiki).

Did WGET do any stunting before flipping to sports? Also, how has its format evolved? I remember listening to 'GET on a day trip to G'burg in 1992 and hearing Paul Davis's "'65 Love Affair" so it must've been AC back then too.

No stunting....but they did use billboards to announce the change. WGET was Middle of the Road in the 50's, 60's, and 70's. They moved more AC in the 80's, where they stayed until the flip to Fox Sports early this year.
