Did you all see the Grammy Nomination Awards?

Did you all see Ludacris perform with Jason Aldean?
What do you all think?
I thought it was (different) I liked it a lot

What do you all think? Can you all see a (Urban AC/Country) Radio station working out?
Look in the past, Nelly also sang Country. Your thoughts?

or maybe (Urban AC/HOT AC)?

Because I see that some cities (such as Boston) don't have an Urban AC station.

Hartford's just switched from 1230am to 1480am. 1230am was much stronger. I picked that up in Amherst, Ma.
Looking now, it looks like 1480 wattage is much smaller

So, anyways

your thoughts?

1. That Jason Aldean song "Dirt Road Anthem" has been the subject of some good discussion previously on Radio-Info, and precisely because of its spoken-word 'rap'.
April 14th: Should country stars rap?
April 20th: 'Country Rap' stirs fiery reader debate
Anatomy of a Hit: 'Dirt Road Anthem'

The programmers that believed in the song have definitely been vindicated.

2. Reading that third article, 'Anatomy of a Hit'--this is actually Luda's second public performance of that song with Aldean, with the first during the CMT Music Awards this past summer. Unsurprisingly, I missed that performance--but I saw their spot on the Grammy Nominations special, and they worked pretty well together.

3. The only way you'll hear a urban/country hybrid station is if someone gets really bored with their part 15er.
