Actually he went on yesterday. He's still a jack ass.

He's still a jack ass?

"He made quite the impression during his brief stint at KLZ. He is a remarkable air talent...a lightening rod if you will. The next few months ought to be very interesting indeed".

You did write these words only days ago RDNZL?

What gives?

I actually heard his show today and it was head and shoulders above anything we have in Atlanta sports radio.

Yes I did. What's your point? He IS a remarkable air-talent. I also think he's a jack-ass. You don't have to like somebody's show in order to have respect for their talents.

Rush is a GREAT broadcaster...he is also a pompous blow-hard.
Edited by RDNZL on 07/20/05 03:53 PM.

See, you're just saying that to make a comparison.

Rush is not a great broadcaster. He's a guy who has a belief, and is smart about how he talks about it... Great Broadcaster does not equal stuttering, referring to the audience as ladies and gentlemen (or everybody), etc. He is by no means a great broadcaster... He is just intelligent and has a great way of thinking and talking about things he's passionate about.

I don't agree with about half of what he has to say... But I'm always impressed with the way he thinks...

Picky picky picky! So...what then...my point is invalid because you disagree with whether or not Rush is a great broadcaster?

I'm guessing you're either a Program Director, or a Sports Talk Show Host...so I'll go slowly here so you can understand. Dino...I mean "Jeffco"...implied I was contradicting myself. He is wrong. It is very easy to admire sombody in a professional way, while believing all along that they are a Jack-Ass.

((God forbid I should suggest that Starbucks serves coffee that tastes good))

I AM Dino Costa!

This is confusing to me. Why am I guessed at being Dino Costa? Simply because I like his work? Because I ask a question or two about the guy? because he was kind enough to return my emails whenever I sent one to him?

Is it simply unfathomable for someone to actually like Dino Costa's work without having to be labled "Dino Costa"?

I believe a review of the subjects that I have commented on will reveal more of my thoughts than simply Dino Costa alone.

Is he the greates talk show host of all time?

No!

Do I enjoy his work and like to listen to him?

Yes!

For these feelings my name is Dino Costa?

Alright, I can deal with it, even as wrong and misguided as it may be.

Wait!

Costa SUCKS, HE SUCKS, HE SUCKS!!!

The man is terrible, a sorry excuse for a talk radio host, a talentless dork with no legitimate credentials as a talk talent!!!

What was I thinking?

He blows, and whatever else mean spirited and vicious thing anyone else may feel like adding.

Never have a seen a talk talent so villified on any message board previously.

It makes me think an agenda is certainly in play with some who cannot stand his being on the air.

Considering the source would make things a lot easier I guess?

The guy has talent and can drive a program on his own every day from what I have heard.

To say that his talent isn't a talent is to render yourself a fraud in the talent evaluating business.

On the other hand he does suck, so allow me the opportunity to stay middle of the road.

Tell me again where I criticized your/his ability as a broadcaster(?)

If you actually read my post...you'll find that I have a lot of respect for you/him as a talent. In fact let me state it even more plainly using easy words so even YOU can understand it...(nice and slow so you can keep up)...

I Like The Dino Costa Show.

I Think It Is A Good Show.

Dino Costa Is A Good Sports Talk Host.

I Do Not HAVE TO Think He Is A Swell Guy.

Don't fret, I think Costa is pretty good to and I've never had an email from him.
