Different Dance version of DHT, on Zone 106.1

I have some good news JP and friends. The Zone @ 106.1 plays the Trance Remix of DHT-Listen to your Heart. It is different than the Furious EZ radio mix, that most stations play as the default Dance version. I like this Trance mix alot, it has some good Hard Beats. In fact Zone @ 106.1 is a pretty cutting edge CHR, not afraid to test ALT Rock songs that other CHRs wont touch, plus it plays a random Dance Tune every now and then. I highly recomend Everyone Check this station out, if you havent yet, there is a Direct link to the stream at www.thestreamcentre.com Ran and maintained by a nice guy in the U.K

Trance mix? Never heard that one. Is it on the CD single? Do you know if it goes by any other name?

Hot 99.5/DC also does not play the Furious EZ mix. Instead they've been giving airplay to the Hardbounze Radio Edit, which is track 2 on the single.

I'm thinking it might be the Hardstyle mix (same version that Sirius 66 The Beat plays). It's much edgier and club-sounding than the other two versions being played on pop and dance radio. I don't really care for it myself because it cuts out the chorus in favor of some hard-progressive style loops that I got tired of hearing 5 years ago. But hey, the song is getting mainstream exposure, and that's good for dance. I'm holding my breath to see if another dance song can cross over after this one peaks, and maybe keep the momentum going.

The edit you hear on The Beat(Sirius) is an exclusive that they did because they weren't feeling the vocals. Go figure.

I agree. I've heard the Hardstyle mix and it really kills the essence of the song. Good for the clubs, not good for radio. Surprised Sirius is playing it, as The Beat is usually heavy on the vocals.

To me, the Hardbounze mix is the best because it remains danceable with some pretty hard beats, but the beats don't overshadow the vocals, which are, let's face it, why the song is getting airplay. I was really surprised when I heard Hot 99.5 playing this instead of the more conservative Furious F EZ Radio Edit.
