The reason we can come up with all these recycled titles is that titles can't be copyrighted, right? So does that mean that I could write, publish and record another "I Am the Walrus" or "Ahab the Arab" or "New York Mining Disaster 1941" and not get sued, so long as the title was the only thing those songs had in common with their better-known predecessors? Or does the law only apply to certain, more "generic," titles?
