Digilink II Problem

The right playback is totally missing, meter missing too. The record function is fine records in both channels. Any ideas? Thanks
 
Back in my Digilink days (2 & 3 was as far as it went), I would pull the boards out and push all the IC's back down on them when I got odd problems. Many are socketed.

Take it down, reseat everything and fire it back up... Better yet, set it on fire and get something else...

Seriously, though, reseat everything and see if it goes away.
 
Speaking as a station owner who refuses (thus far) to upgrade Digilink II running satellite, it seems to my memory that there are op amps that are user replaceable
 
oops. I hit post too soon. The op amp in question is probably on the Hard Drive out portion of the 5 channel switcher. Again, fuzzy memory, switcher comes off back, flip over, and 2 op amps for each channel. Can most likely "liberate" one from an unused or mono channel
