Digital ION

Is PAX/ION/i/whatever they are this week carried exclusively on a OTA digital subchannel anywhere? There are a lot of markets without an affiliate or cable feed. Seems this could help expand their coverage since more and more people are getting DTV, especially next year. Are they even capable of doing/offering this?

Just what we need - "Perfect Strangers" in HD.

Somebody shoot me...

I think what carolinaradio meant was if there were any markets where the main ION channel is carried on a digital subchannel of a station affiliated with another network (and not in analog). I don't know if there are. It would help expand their national coverage though.

This is the kind of thing that Wikipedia is usually pretty accurate for, and they don't show any such stations. Lots of secondary affiliations and cable-only stations, but none where ION is carried exclusively via digital subchannel.

I think that WPXX channel 50 in Memphis, which used to be ION all day but now carries My Network TV in prime time (talk about stupid moves :-\) carries ION on a digital subchannel during the times at least when MNTV is on.
