Digital TV report from New Britain, CT

I just bought a Sanyo 26" LCD HDTV on June 1st (Model #DP26746). Here's what I'm getting in the south end of New Britain so far with rabbit ears...WFSB-DT (CBS) channel 33 Hartford [33-1 is DT, 33-2 is "CBS 3", 33-3 is blank]WTXX-DT (WB) channel 12 Waterbury [12-1 is DT]WHPX-DT (I) channel 34 New London [34-1 is DT, 34-2 is PAX, 34-3 is Worship, 34-4 is Faith]WVIT-DT (NBC) channel 35 New Britain [35-1 is DT, 35-2 is NBC Weather Plus]WCTX-DT (UPN) channel 39 New Haven [39-1 is DT]WTIC-DT (FOX) channel 31 Hartford [31-1 is DT]Sadly, I'm not getting a trace of WTNH-DT (ABC) channel 10 of New Haven whatsoever. WUVN-DT (UNI) channel 46 of Hartford is nearly a no-go. A roof antenna line to my second floor bedroom isn't gonna cut it for the short term.Also, this TV has a QAM tuner in it. I didn't get a heck of a whole lot when I tried last night.

When I ran a scan of digital cable with the antenna still attached for the over-the-air digital, the only channel that pops up is "12-1", a.k.a. WTXX-DT (WB) channel 12 (analog 20) of Waterbury/Hartford. :

No WTNH and they were the first station in the state to go HD. I remember all the problems when Channel 3 that people couldn't see 33 and now WFSB-HD comes in fine. Getting back to WTNH-HD, Cox Cable Connecticut doesn't even carry they or WCTX-HD. Not sure about Comcast.

Comcast in New Britain carries WTNH-DT. Not sure of the channel though.

What a QAM Scan Showed Now...

One was larger than the other. It's the preview box you see from E! up top when you access Comcast's On Demand service.
