DING...DONG...BO Is GONE! AGAIN!

Bo was on the air on the Point actualy to me Bo is one of the best on the air i really like his style and he's been a part of Houston radio for over 15 years he just has a bad track record...

Bo Corona is a terrific talent and reeks of class and distinction - one of the best guys you will ever meet in this industry. He's just happens to be a repeat victim of the shifting tides of format tweeks.

Didn't he do a stint at "The Point" as well?
Yeah, but I think it was a position off the air.
No he was on the air at the Point for awhile but didn't go by Bo Corona. I can't remember what name it was but it was obviously him. This was right before he started mornings at KTHT. For awhile he would do mornings at Hot, then afternoon drive at Point.

Actually, Bo Corona did mornings at KTHT before he went to KHPT. After Rick O'Bryan left KHPT for Mix 96.5, Bo Corona took over the afternoon shift on The Point while still doing mornings on Hot 97.1. During this time, he used his real name on Hot, but went by Doug McKay on The Point. After KTHT flipped to classic country, Bo began using his real name on KHPT.

Before KTHT, Bo Corona was on KTJM 98.5 when it was Jammin' Hits. He started out doing the afternoon drive shift, but later moved to mornings, co-hosting the show with fellow KTJM jock Maxine. This lasted until KTJM flipped to regional Mexican as "La Raza."

Good ole Maxine.....What a nut she is!! Worked with her at Liberman (she left being on air to work in sales.....had dinner at her house with her and her hubby one night....you couldnt find a nicer couple!)...I think I told the story about the showing of "When you wish upon a Weinstein" at LBI one day in the sales room during lunch with the door locked so Leonard would not walk in, she was one of those in attendance and was laughing her ass off......One of the sexier sales girls (who was not the sharpest tool in the shed) finally snapped and said something to the effect "This is about Jewish people...Leonard would flip if he saw this" and about that time L did walk past the room and Im sure he was wondering what we were watching!!

The GOOD days of bad radio!!!!
