No he was on the air at the Point for awhile but didn't go by Bo Corona. I can't remember what name it was but it was obviously him. This was right before he started mornings at KTHT. Actually, Bo Corona did mornings at KTHT before he went to KHPT. After Rick O'Bryan left KHPT for Mix 96.5, Bo Corona took over the afternoon shift on The Point while still doing mornings on Hot 97.1. During this time, he used his real name on Hot, but went by Doug McKay on The Point. After KTHT flipped to classic country, Bo began using his real name on KHPT.
Before KTHT, Bo Corona was on KTJM 98.5 when it was Jammin' Hits. He started out doing the afternoon drive shift, but later moved to mornings, co-hosting the show with fellow KTJM jock Maxine. This lasted until KTJM flipped to regional Mexican as "La Raza."
