Direct TV and WTIC-TV...and WTIC-DT?

Does anybody here in Connecticut have Direct TV? (We've got it at my workplace.) For some reason during FOX's presentation of "Family Guy," the signal of WTIC-TV (FOX) channel 61 of Hartford looked all washed out and there was quite a bit of ghosting. A few TVs down on the wall, I had a big screen TV on over-the-air (UHF) channel 61. The signal there looked fine like always. As a footnote, all of the other locals (3, 8, 18, 20, 24, 30 and 59) looked normal.

Speaking of WTIC-TV, is WTIC-DT channel 31 (a.k.a. "61-1") off the air? I've got rabbit ears on one of the HDTV sets. There's one position that receives the maximum signal we'll get indoors for both WTIC-DT and WFSB-DT on channel 33 (a.k.a. "3-1"), or about 85%. The TV shows 0% signal, yet WFSB-DT is fine.

It could have been a problem with the way DirecTV was receiving WTIC at their headend. I once saw a similar problem with WABC in New York.
