Directv adds WSAH-43

I noticed recently that Directv added WSAH-43 from Bridgeport, CT to its NYC locals package. Is WSAH considered "must carry" for NYC? I wouldn't think so...
 
The station is located in Fairfield County, CT which is in the NY DMA. They have just as much right to claim "must carry" as WLNY-DT, WMBC-TV or WRNN-DT. The problem may have been their ability to deliver a good signal to the DirecTV point of presence. Shop at Home probably did not want to or could not afford the link. Multicultural probabaly sprang to get the fiber link set up.
 
They likely negotiated a deal with DirecTV for carraige, and they're planning to launch they're own programming in the near future.
