Just out of curiosity, what RSNs does DirecTV offer in the Hartford area? Do you get RSNs from NYC, Boston, or both?

It depends on the package you order. The Direct TV set up at my place of work in Newington, CT seems to have most of the regional sports stations except for Sports South (Atlanta Braves and Thrashers, I believe).

It sounds like your setup has the Sports Pack which is a premium service. I'm wondering what RSNs are included in the Total Choice base package. Here in NYC we get FSNY, YES, and MSG. I was wondering if in the Hartford area they would give you those plus NESN and FSNE as part of the base package.

When my family had Direc TV years ago, we just had FoxSports New England and New England Sports Netowrk.

and since those are the RSNs for the Hartford DMA for cable companies, DirecTV and Dish are carrying FSNE and NESN as the local RSN. I have no idea if they carry either YES!, MSG, or FSNY as well.
