I didn't get to hear the actual announcement this morning on US96.3. But I did hear from a few folks who heard Wendy talking about her and Corey splitting up and heading down the road toward divorce. Is that a good idea? Seems like bad radio to me. But I guess when you spend that much time on a station as a husband and wife team, you have to share the good, the bad and the ugly.

Still, I would have preferred to keep my private life out of the public eye.

Talk about your downers!!!

Sad to hear the trouble between them has ended this way. I know them and their kids. It's never easy, but with so many children involved, it seems even more disheartening.

Unfortunately, seems our business is full of relationship problems,or maybe they're more visible because more lives are out in the open. There's so much exposure to situations that put strains on families, with the odd hours, contact with so many different people, relationships with advertisers, and such. In a personality-driven business there's a lot of emotionally charged situations that occur. Don't know the particulars of the 96.3 story, but sorry to hear about it.<P ID="signature">______________

I'm not surprised. Unless they have toned it down, the last time I listened to them it sounded like an episode of divorce court on the air anyway. Ususally a bunch of man bashing by Wendy and the female callers, and Corey ususually playing the bumbling husband part, kinda like any modern day sitcom dad.
