Disaster Plan

With hurricane Irene coming and possibly hitting NYC, I am curious what is Sirius disaster plan? Do they have a backup facility? Do one of the regional studios take up the load?

From what little I know, there is still the XM studios in Washington., DC.

Also doesn't Sirius allow some of their jocks to work from home studios?

All the former MTV VJs on '80s on 8 can and do voicetrack their shows from home. It wouldn't have mattered today, since they don't work Sundays anyway, nor does any of the other Sirius XM talent. They all voicetrack their blather a couple of days in advance.
