Discovery Channel Radio

Why is Discovery Channel Radio only on from 6pm-5am Monday through Friday? When I got XM about a year ago they were on 24/7.Is this to save bandwidth or something? I also have Sirius, and it is on 24/7 on there, although their talk/entertainment channels don't sound as good as XM's

I think it's to save bandwidth.
