Discovery Times >> Investigation Discovery

What an assortment of junk. Mostly reruns of "48 Hours" and "Dateline" from what I can tell.

Looks like another channel I'll give up on. They managed to choose only the shows from Discovery Times that I couldn't stand to watch.

Maybe Discovery should consider placing Oprah's new channel here and keep Discovery Health. Im surprised Discovery would want to get rid of Discovery Health. Are their any other channels like this for docters? I know TLC shows babies being born.

My wife, who's dead center in the 25-44 female demo is honestly PISSED OFF about Discovery Health being blown up for the Orpah Channel. Honestly, she's truly irritated about it - and she is no board-surfing geek like me, either!

She likes to watch some of those "mystery illness" shows and is far too intelligent to express any interest in watching Oprah.

Makes you wonder about the viability of this channel. Are there enough female IQs under 100 out there to pay the bills? Maybe so, but this change is not universally welcomed by all.

I don't know why Discovery wants to make a mess out of their networks. Anyone know why they sold off The Travel Channel to Cox? But they are still in Maryland and the website to Travel is still on Discovery.com but when you go to the Travel Channel website theirs no way of going back to the Discovery website from that site.
