Dish Network Chops Peachtree TV Off The Air

Ive been seeing the crawls on channel 46 asking viewers to call Dish Network. With a nice roof top antenna i dont have to worry about local channels being dropped. Plenty of free tv to keep my tivo busy.

To me Peachtree TV has been a joke from the start. I don't know who is programming it,
but I'd bet a group of 4th graders could do a better job.

Such a shame, because as an independent 17 could really rock and be a top station, but
their puzzle pieces just don't fit together.............it's more like a pizza that someone chucked
up.

I love Peachtree TV! Unfortunately, my condo just switched from Comcast to Dish Network just in time for this. I normally watch Cheers, Frasier, The Big Bang Theory, The Office, SEC football and basketball and the Braves there. In fact, I probably watch Peachtree TV more than any other channel in my package.

You need an antenna. ;D

You don't even need an antenna; you can just hook up a piece of coaxial cable. The $50 Starship Enterprise-shaped digital antenna I bought at Radio Shack is less effective than something you can pick up and move to get your signal.

Yep, only to you because the majority of the assessments I've heard from others is enjoying the variety of programming compared to the fare offered by WUPA or WATL. Personally, when I have watched it I have enjoyed it myself.

BTW, I finally tried this over the weekend and it turned out great! Thanks for saving me from buying an antenna!
