Disney and Warner Brothers to partner up on their streaming platforms

Now we're getting someplace.

Consumers are tired of having 20 different monthly subscriptions. We need a way to simplify the process.

They could call it ”cable”. :ROFLMAO:
time is a circle, we are in a new age/era of streaming, the FAST Streaming/Basic Streaming/Premium Streaming era of streaming which is the streaming version of OTA Network TV/Basic Cable/Premium Cable

FAST Streaming=OTA Network TV, ad supported and free for all (in OTA's case, you need a antenna, in FAST's case, you just need a smart device and a internet connection).
Basic Streaming=Basic Cable, where you're paying for the content but it's censored and still ad supported.
Premium Streaming=Premium Cable, where you get uncensored content and it's mostly ad free, and the case of Premium cable, it's just ads to promote the network's programing only in between shows/movies.

We wanted streaming to be able to pick and choose what we wanted for a cheaper price. Now the price is just as high as cable was and we need all the services to get the content. We basically reverted back to the cable package without cable.

No...not really unless you watch everything on all the platforms. If you watch a ton of TV maybe, but a lot of times you can rotate out the ones you don't watch much.

I had a feeling there was going to be a bundle for streaming services I saw it coming was a matter of time it would happen.

No matter how many channels you select, you're still paying for everything. Just like cable. I have YouTube TV and only select the locals (and they don't even air all of them), the sports channels, and a few others like TVLand and TCM. It's one flat fee regardless whether you select a few or all.

Meanwhile, ABC says its ABC streaming app will be discontinued on September 23.

It could be related to this partnership with Warner.
This is expected given Disney did an aggressive campaign to promote Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN+ as the main destinations for their TV content for some time.
