Disney considering selling cable channels to A&E

I think it will hurt Charter if they unable to reach a deal with A+E if the latter bundles Freeform, Nat Geo Wild, and Nat Geo Mundo into there separate negotiations. I'm curious here since Fubo doesn't have A+E's channels but if Disney buys, swaps, or sells some tv stations and networks this will hurt both Charter and Fubo a lot. TBH Charter only cared about ESPN than the entertainment, kids, and documentary channels that Disney operates or partnered.

A+E won’t be purchasing these networks so there won’t be a carriage dispute with Charter involving them.
How do you know they won't buying the networks?? Know something we don't??

Guessing whoever owns Freeform will have to find another channel in its group to run it on, which would eliminate TBN, a religious broadcaster that would make the most sense.
TBN already airs The 700 Club, and it's also aired in syndication on local stations such as KASW in Phoenix.

I was looking for the Charlotte Christmas parade on The CW affiliate. I only knew it would be rebroadcast on Thanksgiving Day. As I was going through the listings I saw "The 700 Club".

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't "The 700 Club" contractual obligation attached to the transponder regardless of programming? If so, why not swap Freeform and FXX, thus parking "The 700 Club" on FXX and selling it to a Christian broadcaster? Obviously the FXX programming will be replaced with Christian and/or "wholesome" programming (you can figure out what I mean by "wholesome").
Why? FXX is solid these days.

Well the current leaders of CBN are hyping up CBN Family streaming app. I don't even know at this point if Disney or CBN really cares that much about Freeform airing 700 club at this point.
FXX seems like a weird choice since it is one of the few channels people actually watch on cable, relatively speaking. Family Guy reruns still make the top shows every night and Futurama, Bob's Burgers and The Simpsons pull in decent numbers in today's cable environment at least.

I would think if CBN didn’t care much about Freeform showing 700 Club CBN would accept a payment from Disney to end the contract.
Whatever one thinks of what they do--and I loathe it--if the organization feels their mission is to be on as many platforms as possible and this is one they have guaranteed until the big guy returns to walk the earth again, a buy out may not be their objective.
