Disney Weak TV Performance Offset by Film, Parks

http://frontpage.pch.com/story/2905...-lackluster-tv-results?category=entertainment

Disney did not have a good year in television, but despite that, strength in other areas keeps financial performance strong. The article also addresses ESPN's performance which, surprisingly, has been able to keep pace despite a drop in subscriptions. Rate increases won't carry it forever, however, so ESPN performance, which helped Disney outperform in past years is unlikely to continue that support, although it'll still be highly profitable.
