Distance Finder...

This might have been discussed before but is there a place/website that you can easily input coordinates to find out distance? I have a HD radio and have been able to capture an HD signal from WPRS/104.1 Waldorf MD in Virginia Beach. Two nights ago though I got WMGV/103.3 Newport NC and WSFL/106.5 New Bern NC (with my antenna pointed towards Richmond/Fredericksburg/DC). I think Waldorf is a bit farther away...

The FCC site works great. Use the "Great Circle" calculation. http://www.fcc.gov/mb/audio/bickel/distance.html
Just tried it. WPRS wins by 15 miles. Wish there was a way to keep my coor. plugged in while being able to input others... UPDATE: Oops... WSFL wins! Would have never known that... 139.313 vs 136.579 miles

The best way to get distances to US and Canadian stations is to go to DXFM.com and download the Excel spreadhseets that are free. Put in your coordinates in the spaces in the upper right and you will have the distance to every FM station in the US and other detail all in one file saved on your computer. If you do not have Microsoft Excel there is a free program called OpenOffice that works similar.
