Cheyenne is pre-empting for a U of Wyoming football game.

Most of the markets in the south and midwest that have the late Cubs-Astros game over Sox-Yankees are also showing college football early (from JP, ESPN+ or whatever), but those games should be done by the time the baseball starts. The Wyoming game is starting too late for them to show any game.

I was sure the answer would have been...

They're not interconnected so they have to
wait for a kinescope to be Pony Expressed
for airing two weeks later. ;-)

(Apologies to the folks in Wyoming.)

But back to the map, which has the Chisox
on at 12 CT in Chicago. So what about the
Cubs game at 3 CT--no local TV?

I'm guessing they would allow CSN to pick it up.

Yes, Comcast SportsNet Chicago is carrying the game for the entire Cubs market even as Fox shows it in the Southwest. However, part of Iowa seems to be getting Cubs-Houston instead of Sox-Cleveland despite the importance and CSN's availability.

LOL!

FYI the opponent is UNLV. The game is in Laramie. Kickoff is at 1:00 mt per http://wyomingathletics.collegesports.com/sports/m-footbl/sched/wyo-m-footbl-sched.html . The Cowboys are 3-1.

As I just mentioned, the game begins at 1:00 mt. It might end around 4:00 mt. Cubs/'Stros and Phils/Nats begin at 2:00 mt so at 4:00 mt those games will be 2 hours old. Might KFNB-20 join one of Fox's late games in progress? Would KFNB even consider showing football today if the Colorado Rockies were in contention?

I notice Casper is getting Yanks/Bosox.
