I just did a whois on Diva103.com and it was registered to Citadel Communications as of March 30, 2005.
Could this be the signaling of what I've been mentioning for a while now?
Diva goes to B103 in Baton Rouge, Diva 92.3 gets either a rock format, what I'm thinking now possibly a "Jack" style format or an Active Rock format covering the hole left in Baton Rouge and putting it on a stronger signal in New Orleans, Move Diva 92.3 to either 106.7 or 106.1, whichever seemed to better aim at the core listeners, which I think is Northshore residents so I'd move it to 106.1. Out of either of the 106.1 or 106.7 signals I'd put the Praise format back on, likely the 106.7 signal.
If i was going to do it I'd do it now because of all the turmoil in the New Orleans market right now...everything is confused...so by the time the "true" numbers start to fall out in a few months it would just get caught up in the wash..Between the morning shows switching stations..formats changing...the numbers aren't reflecting all those changes yet...there are crazy "spikes" and valleys all over the place...it will take some time for everything to simmer down...<P ID="signature">______________
