i know these boards get filled with personal negative vendettas but beyond that as a listener i have to say i listened to a segment on diva's morning show today that was so bad i could hardy believe it, mike tice (spelling?) was carrying on and on about some date he was on that went south and the other on-air guy kept interupting him while he was teling a story that was already going around in circles.
yes, it was unlistenable. there was nothing owrth debating in the story, nothing interesting whatsoever. can't somebody do something innovative locay in am? snorefest! fo-sho!
 
i don't have xm but i have sirius and i have to say the content is far superior than what they put on local fm radio.
technology is surpassing the medium.
why listen to the sme songs over and over? you can make your own playlist and listen to whatever you want when you want.
radio sounds like a failed business model in this day and age. Hmm....we'll play crap edited songs over and over and run annoying liners---people will love it! i don't know if the suits will ever figure out that people are not idiots and we want more than 150 songs.
oh wel, you right, satellite all the time why bother with local fm? well, wwoz is great, but the rest...YAWN!
