Not unless the lable promotes the sh.t out of it, or if we suddenly start seeing more Dance Friendly CHRs like (Fun 107), (B-106.3) Fort Wayne, or maybe K-104.7 in New York. I still cant beleive that Fun 107 still plays dance, after all this time, they must have been successful with it. As for B106.3, it is one of the lowest rated stations in Fort Wayne, but I doubt, that playing 1 or 2 dance songs an hour, is not whats hurting them.
 
It's not bad. I still prefer Annie Lennox's stellar original.

But at least, it's still better than some other covers that have come out in the last few months.

As for Fun 107 (WFHN), it's what people want to hear apparently, seeing that most of the dance they introduce comes up in the top 9@9, and given the ratings, which are quite consistant for the past decade they are doing something right. If they weren't, after being acquired by Citadel, Citadel would've x'ed the dance a long time ago...

I think it's an average dance song, nothing special.

i only heard it a few times, on the wild101.(com)
sat nite house show "Carnival" [pronounced: carni-vale], it is a
live-2-aire, from Copa-Cabana..in niagara falls ontario..
with a some what regional/legendary cdn dj..

any ways, they played it..and it didnt "jump outta my speakers"
but...that show has a way of playing one verse/chorus, and mixing
into another song..because the club(copa-cabana) only pays CKEY/wild 101
for three hours..So, they try to play more songs, and cover alot more
ground in 180 minutes...then, a normal broadcast would..

i wouldn't mind hearing it again...in a regular
rotation, or hearing the radio-edit in the afternoon...
 
I think this may be a "which mix you hear makes all the difference" song.

I've heard a few different mixes and at first I didn't like it, either. But BPM is playing a mix I really like.
