DJ Scam

I know of some professionals who sometimes have to accept payment 'at the door'. They handle these situations by doing as much of the job/inspection 'on site' as is required in order to complete the job later. Then before they go any further they take the check to the customer's bank and cash it, even if it is a hastle. If the check won't cash, you can just stop the job.

Its better to be safe than sorry.

I thought that the electronic clearing of checks ("Check 21" act) was supposed to help cut down on some of these check scams.

I actually believed the original poster for a minute

What was the point of posting something fake like this?
