DJ Thomas...

She's rockin' 1023 Kiss fm during the day, and she's now doing traffic in the am...Her contract expires this year. Ya gotta show her some $$$ (Love) to keep her..She's from NYC and she has her son in California...

I'm pulling for her. I Love my DJ Thomas!

I like her also but i dont like the station she is at!!

That hip hop stuff is UTTER GARBAGE and i dont know how anyone can listen to that!!

102.3 used to be an EXCELLENT STATION,used to play "easy listening" in the 80s along with 103.1's format "Simply Beautifull"

I mi$$ that format like crazy,im glad Music Choice still has it,it is a very nice format and im glad they dont look down on it!

102.3-WASM did do beautiful music until 1987, and then flipped to Top 40 as WQQY. In 1991, they moved the transmitter to Clifton Park and became WZRQ, the local Z-Rock affiliate. That lasted until 1996, when they flipped to
Classic Rock as WXCR...WHRL was beautiful music it seems like forever...at least in another time dimension these days. They got into that format when they signed on in 1966, and also dropped it in 1987, going A/C for several months before adopting that Jazz/New Age format they went to in 1988 as "The Breeze" and "Easy 103.1". That evolved over the years to "smooth jazz" until the flip (thankfully) to Alternative "Channel 103-1" in 1999....

"That hip hop stuff is UTTER GARBAGE and i dont know how anyone can listen to that!!" is your personal opinion. Many can't take the ear bleeding after listening to talk radio on AM for 2 seconds either. But who are we to say what is GARBAGE, really? DJ Thomas, and Kiss have plentyyyyy of fans. (or they did.) Fans that arent spending their retirement checks.
