DJ with a lisp

Wow, how low can you go on a post? If I'm not mistaken and please correct me if I'm wrong, Ed Johnson had part of his tongue taken off because of cancer.
This might be the cruelest post I've seen on this board.

Wow... K... didn't know that. Sincerely sorry. Still sounds bad though.

[EDIT] I'd like to put one of your airchecks up against one of Ed's. The guy is a [EDIT] pro and as earlier noted on this board a hell of a good guy as well. I had the pleasure of getting to know Ed a little while working at Kool 105. He is what this business lacks more and more of every year; he has chops, craft, talent, experience and a great attitude. Keep kickin' ass, Ed!

12345678 you could learn a lot.

[EDIT-use of profanity & inflammatory content]

There is a great TV reporter named XXXXXXXXX in Nashville. He has one of the most unique voices I have heard.
I am not saying he has an actual impediment, that would be cruel...he just has a totally different approach.
It is difficult to understand him, but he is one of the most incredible and respected journalists I know. I
believe, liked Ed, that the perfomance you give is probably more important than they way it sounds. There
are few in Nashville that would not recognize his voice and if he did a commercial for radio, he'd make the
business tons of money. The opposite is true for no-name, sound alike churn and burn cue card readers
(which sadly is probably not their fault because of the corporate radio system these days,,,,until they are
used as excuses for bad ratings.) I salute the true fighters like this. As they retire, we miss them and the
new generation is pretty or handsome, but sadly many are empty and just tools of the trade.

Wow... really riled ya up about Ed. Simmah down now. Don't think I'd really want any lessons from Ed though. Been doin' very well for 24 years on the air now.

Also, I'd put my aircheck up against Ed's (and probably yours) any day of the week... but I wouldn't, because in REAL life, I'm not actually this cruel. ;o)

Dear: 12345678

This board and this thread is also part of real life… so any behavior that you perceive as cruel (winking emoticon aside) does the same damage here that it does elsewhere. The question you should ask yourself is… Would I say the same thing if my real identity was attached to my statement? If the answer is no, my advice is… you should not say it.

We should all seek to comport ourselves in a positive way as often as possible. Hiding in a bunker of anonymity may protect your reputation but it is not a karmic shield. It’s just not worth the bad juju.

I’m just saying…

Louie - I've met you a few times and you're a pretty nice, respectable guy and I've taken what you said to heart. I'll try to play nice from now on (EXCEPT if we're talking about Steve Cormier or the morning show on Star 92.9).

Happy Holidays!
