Does anybody remember the names of afew DJ's that were on XM's 50's Channel, around 2005. I have asked XM/Sirius and they do not have the info.
The people I am curious about were on the 50's Channel, one was on in the afternoon M-F. I think he did his show from Hollywood.
Matt "The Cat" Baldassarri: A central figure on the channel throughout the 2000s. He was the Music Director and hosted the highly popular "Night Prowl Show," where he took listeners through the "back alleys" of early rock ‘n’ roll, doo-wop, and R&B.
Ken Smith: Served as the Program Director for the channel from 2001 until 2008. He was instrumental in shaping the station's "period-correct" feel, including the use of vintage-style jingles and slang.
Norm N. Nite: Known as the "Encyclopedia of Rock 'n' Roll," he joined the channel in July 2005. He broadcasted live from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, hosting the "Remember Then" show on weekends.
Pat St. John: While he is now a staple of the '60s Gold channel, he was a prominent voice across the XM/Sirius decades channels during this period, known for his deep musical knowledge and conversational style.
Specialty Shows & Hosts
Cool Bobby B: Hosted the "Doo Wop Stop," a syndicated favorite that was a fixture for fans of vocal group harmony
Pinky: Often remembered by long-time listeners for her high-energy presence, she contributed to the channel's upbeat, "sock hop" atmosphere.
