This is something that has been in the works for over a year now.

Check it out if you are a DJ of any sort - club, mobile, mix-show etc. It is a not-for-profit set up for the benefit of the DJ.

It seems that they really don't offer anything that you'd really need. Discounts on equiptment? on Travel? etc. No biggie there.

The hosting of a profile on their site, why bother if you already have a web site of your own.

I also love the "5 Year membership" which within it's description calls itself a "Lifetime" membership. Is a DJ's life expectancy now 5 years? :)

There are plenty of organizations like this out there already. Don't see why this one is so special. I also don't really see the need for it so maybe that's why. :-\

people are still working on it to make it better.

the proper authorities have been alerted to the typos and other mistakes on the site -

if you had something to suggest to make it different than the others (since you say it's nothing special), what would that suggestion be? shutting it down is not an option. :)

it's already a not-for-profit organization and other things are being worked on that take time to accomplish.
 
As I said before, I don't see a real need for this type of organization. But if you do, I wish you the best of luck with it.
