DK281CZ on the air in Lufkin

They're not using K279DC, which I heard dead air a year ago and now off... Same people own them both. Maybe swap them?
 
How do you know its the operator of the stations and not an unaffiliated pirate? There's quite a few missing pieces here jumping to a lot of conclusions and accusations, which in a couple minutes of actual research I was able to find.

The company that owns KRBA's website indicates it airs Southern Gospel and Classic Country and not the R&B featured here. The stream of the station points it to "KALF-FM" which is a licensed station in Chico CA, but also the name of a webcaster in Lufkin KALFFM 97.2 – KALFFM 97.2. That would more or less indicate that the webcaster or someone previously associated with them has begun operating illegally and not the licensee of multiple radio stations.

You can't just go on the internet or anywhere and shout fire when there is none. Ask questions, but don't go around accusing stations of things that you cannot prove.

That matches what I can hear on 104.1 now. Maybe it's not KRBA, but that stream link came from their Facebook page which is titled KRBA... It sure looked like KRBA based off that, and the audio on 104.1 is processed like a professional not a pirate.

Is the programming on 1340 KRBA right now too? That's the only way you can legally connect it to the licensed station of the same name.

I can't get 1340. However I do know Yates Broadcasting is what I heard on the classic R&B station. Yates is a big radio player in the area. The guy who did the voice for the legal ID I think I heard on Hot 96.3 KZXL too.
 
As of yesterday afternoon by 04:00 PM 104.1 went to broadcasting dead air.
 
1340 has been dead carrier, or rather with a slight buzz, for the last couple of months. The 104.1 signal was in full stereo the last time I was in Lufkin a few weeks ago.
 
Last time I was there their 103.7 translator was off the air and I couldn't get 1340.
