Dkflz 87-7

I'd email the FCC. I recall emailing about a station supposedly operating for about 2 years after their license expired. Come to find out, it was one of those rare times the FCC missed updating their database. The license had been renewed and everything was fine. As I recall this station had a D in front of it's call letters.

I don't think the FCC cares. But for those who do, DKFLZ is still going on and on.

Our consulting engineer confirmed they are licensed and on the air as licensed. This TV channel 6 still is not correct in FCC database and the error is going on 2+ years. The commission does not correct this info. Why? This franken FM covers all of San Antonio with a max aural power of 600 watts 20% of max visual at 3kw). weird

The FCC is non-existent and 87-7's continued broadcasts prove it.

LOL the audio on it is way off to the left, like on 102.3

I have no doubt it is legal judging from the paper trail. The FCC database does have errors. I've caught a few, like a station here licensed for 1.1 MW. It is really licensed for 1.1 kW, but for some reason, the database reported it as 1.1 MW (that's one million, one hundred thousand watts for those who don't know metric prefixes).

I'm not an engineer but I suspect they're overpowered.
From what I've read they're the same people as the 99.9 station which was just recently filed against because of more power than authorized. This thread states they're the same person as each other, Gerald Benavides.

The 87.75 is a lptv station that should run a video carrier of up to 3kw max depending on contours to other channel 6 and 88.1 fm stations. There are a few other rules regarding channel 6 lptv. The audio or fm carrier is to not exceed more than 20% of visual. Problem is the FCC must catch the operator running excessive power. They will no accept a third party filing a complant of over power. Even many months after a complant is filed the operator can reduce power and get legal and jack the power up again. Even with documented field measurments they must be caught doing the dead. I wonder if there is a video carrier on channel 6 or just audio

I don't have an analog TV receiver but signal wise it comes in very strong here, I'd say as strong as 102.3 and they're on the same tower I think.
