Big Apple Peelings At CBS?
ALL ACCESS hears some BIG changes are thisclose to taking place at CBS RADIO/NEW YORK. Is a PD about to walk the plank and be replaced by someone from the LEFT COAST?

And, any truth to very strong, but unconfirmed, rumors that DAVID LEE ROTH is on the bubble? Is a decision on his fate being decided as you read this?

Word is attention is turning to WYSP/PHILLY's KIDD CHRIS who has been subbing for DLR all this week in the CITY OF BROTHERLY CHEESESTEAKS. Hmmmmmmmmmm!

I love those allaccess cheese rumor bits....but, it prolly has some truth to it, Ive heard KIDD CHRIS and, for a corporate radio type, he isnt too bad. The guy has all the qualities DLR lacks (pretty reasonable, lack of primadonna attitude, good price,ect..) and is the most deserving of that "east coast media" contingent that deserves the shot.

Heres my question, how much of an "cluster F is 105.3 in if gavin makes the decision to dump DLR and fill with local for AM Drive? I mean, will they face a s-ton of retribution from CBS Radio for not "playing the corporate game"?

I suppose the answer would hinge upon the profitibility of said local show.

The only guys (locally) who could pull that off is Russ and to a lesser degree, Chris Jagger. Seeing that russ likes his afternoons and has sworn to never leave that slot, he more than likely will be out of the running. I wonder how much green CBS will have to part with to make this come to fruition for either of them?
