DLR ratings question

So I know this show sucks...at least in my opinion...can anyone tell me where it stands with any trends or ratings? What its listenership is looking like. I am looking for an unbiased opinion on whether or not a client mught benefit from running any spots in his show, or whether I should take the moeny and dump it into a couple of extra spots in Russ's show. I'm leaning toward the RMS, but wanted to get some opinions. Any help is much appreciated.
______________

I believe the next trends come out Thursday. Who do you think is worse DLR or Lex & Terry? THAT is a tough one.

Seeing DLR is driving 92.3 WXRK into the crapper, as well as L&T having a hand in sinking the old Q102, I say they rank right about the same...I have two words for these guys: Radio Poison

I wasn't looking for this to become a debate on who sucks more...just if anyone thought there was any or enough audience to warrant putting an advertiser in DLR.
______________

The answer to that question is you are playing blind. 1st trend is a week away, and that is just 1 trend good-or-bad. 2nd trend is end of March. the book doesnt hit till May. None of those will be good indicators because of the Lex and Terry thing. I suspect DLR will pick up some of the Jagger audience and L&T will tank. There is no question that a lot of Russ listeners are tuning into DLR as a guilty pleasure. Its a train wreck and there are a lot of rubberneckers.

The Russ Martin Show is the best advertising vehicle in the market. You cant loose there. That goes double if you have a direct response client. If you are getting a rate on DLR and selling cars or phones or branding, run with the devil. But not next week - David is going on vacation. 5 weeks on the job is quite a workout.

Re: DLR vs. Lex & Terry - who is worse?

One Word Carolla

Here in Phoenix we run the best of 5-7am and then the show live from 7-11am. I actually dont have time to listen to ever minute of the CArolla show so I enjoy the rewind from yesterdays show for the first two hours. Dallas could do the same thing and trust me Carolla is 200% better than DLR.

Re: DLR vs. Lex & Terry - who is worse?

I have a feeling russ will move into that slot in a few months,he'll get a huge raise, then, if they're smart, run carolla in the post slot. That way, it'll rid of DLR and P&K :)

Re: DLR vs. Lex & Terry - who is worse?

2-5 would be a challenge, They do have Dan and Tasos. Go live with Leykis at 5(he's 3-8PST)..possibly follow up with Phil Hendrie at night (since he doesnt have a affiliate here)or Penn Jillette.
