Let's play a guessing game here. Right now, if I'm correct, DMA 100 is Ft. Smith, Arkansas. But will that remain the case in the next couple of months? Or will another market take over?

Detroit's population loss will be Phoenix's gain this year, but the Valley will not catch Houston for quite a while if ever.

South Bend Indiana has a better chance of becoming market #100 before Detroit will. Detroit is still in the top 20, while South Bend is now down to market #87 or 88. With South Bend losing people even faster than Detroit is, it won't take long for South Bend getting to market #100.

Ft. Smith may move up a notch or two, due to the urber-rapid growth in the Fayetteville-Benton area (thank Walmart). I don't know about this year, but Florence-Myrtle Beach SC will probably hit the top 100 in a year or two. Of course, there may be a surprise or two since I assume the 2010 census figures will be used in this year's rankings.

Well Nielsen uses "TV homes" for it's ranking not population data. From their website, Nielsen says the average TV home in the USA has 2.5 viewers

It is my understanding that two markets have two CW stations-- Boise and Myrtle Beach, and in both cases, one of them is actually CW Plus...Will the Quad Cities be next?
