do 9 hour airshifts portend a flip?

The Point now has two people doing nine hours a piece. Obviously some has to be VT'ed, but given the end of this format in Jacksonville, does anybody see it leaving here soon? Of course do any rules apply to COX?
 
i'm willing ot say the point will flip soon. i hope ti does but what would go on 101.5 in it's place? interesting.
 
I don't think they will flip but I do find it interesting as I think Corey, AM shift on wpoi, is now mid-days as Jordon on 97x as well.
 
Off the topic a bit, however, a good story nonetheless. Way back in the late 60's and early 70's the number one top 40 station in Erie, PA. was WJET. A fellow by the name of Myron Jones was the owner. The station was high profile personality. The all night show was hosted by "Big Al Knight". Al Knight was actually a jock from one of Jones' other stations who did voice tracks. May have been the first example of voice tracking. Once asked why he chose not to be live all night Jones replied that "Al Knight is never sick or late and has never asked for a raise".
 
I want to thank Dick Reigns , Brian Black, and the guy who did overnights on the Point one night for all the years they gave Tampa Bay.
 
We have a gal who works two shifts; one at one station, and then afternoon drive on its sister station. She's really good too, although I tend to stick with the sister station something like 90% of the time +.
