Do any stations at all share daypart numbers with air staff?

When the numbers come in, are there any stations at all that willingly share daypart stats with air talent, regardless of whether they're full- or part-time?

I ask because such is not the case where I work. Why would that be?

Thanks.

I've never heard of a station that subscribed to Arbitron that did not share numbers; the PD usually goes over them with talent and gives guidance.

Thanks, David. I've been with this company for four years, and they will always publish in a monthly newsletter the overall 12+ numbers, but other staffers who've been there longer tell me the daypart breakouts have never been released, not even if individuals ask about them.

We just wonder why.

BTW, those are two great quotations you use. Can you please tell me who the 'healthy discontent' quote is attributed to?

Thanks.

It's from Mohandas Ghandi, who I think is an amazingly relevant thinker today.
