do anybody like the sportsnation show on espn2?

Does anybody like the Sports Nation show on ESPN 2?

This has to be the worst sports talk show on ESPN 2.
What do you think of the show?

Nathan, it's one thing to occassionally forget to put an I before E.

But DJ writes as if he has absolutely no concept of the english language.

I guess I'll answer the question, errors notwithstanding...on the days I'm home during the afternoon, I watch the show. It's an OK show, I suppose, if you can last past the usual ESPN grandstanding. I'm not a fan of Colin Cowherd, but on this show he's a bit more restrained than he is on his radio program. Hell, at least Michelle Beadle is nice to look at, if there's a saving grace.

See, I am a fan of Cowherd on radio, but I think this show stinks and Beadle is just OK to look at. She used to host the show on INHD, Ball park Cathederals, where her personality really didnt get to come out, here she is trying to hard I think to be like "one of the guys"

It is better than having best of X Games or stuff that ESPN "Classic" airs.
But as far as ESPN goes, as a network they have ruined almost everything they get their hands on

I used to listen to Cowherd, but dislike his attitude about virtually everything and "SportsNation" is a complete waste of time.

He has a lot of takes on things I really have a problem with -- for example;

"I don't talk about any teams except the Yankees and the Red Sox -- they are the only teams that 'move the meter.'

"My listeners have busy lives -- we are overachievers -- we don't have time to go to games."

"I don't care about regular season college basketball games, nobody does."

"I don't worry about e-mail from listeners, they are just a bunch of 'dot.edu' types -- they aren't my core audience."

"Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Kansas City aren't big league cities anymore and don't deserve to be in the same league as the major market teams."

"The NFL does everything right and MLB does everything wrong."

"There's a huge difference between the fans of MMA and boxing."

I prefer hosts on sports networks who like sports and want to talk sports. I haven't listened to him for more than five minutes in a row for over a year. Don't miss him at all.

was home early today and watched it. Its fun. She's VERY easy on the eyes, and cowherd is quick, and always has a point of view. Even if I don't always agree with it. That show is more entertaining visually than most stuff on the network. I mean, can anyone tell me they enjoy 'around the horn' and thats lasted probably six or seven years. And 'Rome is burning' isn't exactly american idol, and it hangs around. Sexy sells, and that girl will attract lots of men. She's got great legs.

The show has grown on me, I do not record it like I do PTI and ATH, But if I am home I will put it on.

I guess I am in the minority on this one. I actually like the show. It is pretty mindless but a fun way to kill an hour. It is pretty lively and good for a laugh, I like PTI but don't care for ATH that much.
