DO THEY NEED MORE RETRO COMMERCIALS ON THE RETRO CHANNELS?

One AM station I worked at played a good amount of OTR, including the When Radio Was and Radio Superheroes shows. They had off-net recordings of the CBS Mystery Theater (the station was a CBS affiliate; the episodes were recorded from their original runs) and also played Lum & Abner in the mornings. Sunday nights they ran old Suspense and Jack Benny episodes, but they were careful to avoid the Benny episodes with Lucky Strike commercials.
(The station also continued to run Earl Nightingale's editorials, some 20 years after his death. Hey, a local bank kept sponsoring the show; who cared if Earl was still ranting about the Soviet Union?)
