do think urban ac format will work in portland

Just think of it this way Fresh--

If the format actually worked in this area, do you really think the only UAC station in town (as I am aware, that would be none other than KBMS) would be broadcasting on a weak 1000-watt AM channel that can barely be heard in most of Vancouver, even in the most absolutely pristine reception conditions?

On the other hand, KBOO (that's FM!) does occasionally UAC programming, but that's a completely different situation.........
