Do WBCN, FNX, WAAF afternoon dj's need to be by themselves?

Only five years ago it seems that every afternoon dj in the area had a Dj'ing partner. It kept it fresh. Everyone is by themselves in the afternoon. I like seeing the chemistry between two people rather than hear some old bloak by themselves. There was this lady Neanderpaul had on WAAF a few weeks ago that was pretty good working with him. WBCN Hardy has this guy come in on fridays that keeps making me listen. Yells at all the callers and refuses to say positive things about the bands BCN plays. Funny stuff. Sounds like a wrestler. Anyone know who the lady or the guy is?

I've noticed the tandem DJing is HUGE on the west coast...but it never took off over here. Afternoon show producers are also more prevelant on the east-side.

I'd love to see it, but I don't expect to :-x

The guy with hardy on WBCN fridays makes it 1000 times WORSE. Hardy is horrible and that wrestler guy makes it just so unbearable. WBCN is really REALLY a horrible station in such desperate need of some direction. AC/DC and Guns and Roses played to death who the heck hears these songs and goes "GOD YES" anymore.<P ID="signature">______________

depends on the song but i think bcn's music selection has been a lot better over the past few months as compared to a few years ago, although i think they love chris cornell just a tad too much because at least once an hour you can hear a sound garden, audio slave, or temple of the dog tune...AC/DC rules

Wellington a Plus afternoon dj's need to be by themselves?

Yes, Travis, the song selection is much better with the new
Program Director. The old regime played "favorites" instead of what the
audience wanted to hear. I think Wellington could have made more
on-air changes as well as music changes more efficiently, but
anything is better than the perpetual downward spiral 104.1 FM
was on. With Howard leaving the building serious changes will have to be made.
